Hello Everyone. My Webmaster and I have been working on the website trying to set it up and it has proved to be a daunting task so far. Things have not gone as well as I would have liked but at least we are making progress. I would like to let everyone know what has been going on and what we have planned for the near future.
Getting back to our Region. We will be having a Spring Conference call in mid April. Our annual convention is in the planning stage and will be discussed then. The Convention this year is being held at Fern Hills outside Bloomington Indiana and we are expecting to have an exciting time.
The fifth anniversary of the Skinny Dip will be on July 13th. You can see information on that in the events section of our webpage as well as more information on the Convention being held at Fern Hills. we have added several forms and the procedure manual as well as the By Laws to a drop down page that shows our Board and Officers.
We have added a Young Adult Nudist Chair to our group this year, her name is Stephanie and she is doing seminars at some of the colleges in our region. She will be targeting the 18 - 35 year old age group. Look for more information from her on the Events page as well.
I attended the AANR Mid Winter meeting in Cypress Cove in February. During the meeting the budget was passed for this year and some progress was made on updating the procedure manual. There was also information passed on about some of our nude beaches that may be in jeopardy of losing our rights to use as nude beaches. please refer to the article in the Bulletin for more information.
That is all for now I will be trying to write something new about every 6 - 8 weeks so keep coming back to see how we have expanded the web page.
